Day 2: Sea World

Wednesday we went to Sea World.  I love Sea World.  The boys really enjoyed the things you can touch, and they have a roller coaster than Chandler really liked.

We paid to feed the stingrays.  Sterling was a little apprehensive, but I convinced him it would be safe.  A bunch of stingrays passed Sterling's fish up, but a sturgeon fish ate Sterling's fish and his ENTIRE hand.  I had to yank his arm out of the fishes mouth.  He was totally fine; just a little shaken.

Less than an hour later, Chandler lost his shoe on the roller coaster and it was time to go home.

Day 1: Legoland

We were trying to do a kind of family lesson on saving money.  We were going to earn and save money to do something fun. I was going to make a chart.... and then we moved, had a baby, Chandler saved $90, and I never made a chart.  He wanted to go to Legoland.  I, however, was not terribly excited about Legoland, so when we saw these 4 day San Diego Go Passes (on sale!!) for not a whole lot more than a 2-day Legoland pass, we thought it would make everyone happy.  And it did!

Tuesday night- drive and stay at my parent's condo by the beach!
Wednesday- Legoland
Thursday- Sea World
Friday- Knott's Berry Farm
Saturday- San Diego Zoo
Sunday- Brandon's birthday/die/drive home

Legoland has a lot of rides.  Mostly they're just little rides, like tea cups, and train rides, but there was a lot to do.  Some of the lego displays are very impressive, and my boys love meeting Emmett from Lego Movie.  The park was empty, so by the time it closed at 6, we had done everything a more.  Also the weather was BEAUTIFUL.

Gigi was a dream.

Roommate Reunion II

Our roommate reunion, Easter, and conference weekend was a little extra sweet this.   This year, all 6 roommates gathered to celebrate Dave's wedding.  Dave at Reese were married in the Draper temple this past Friday and we could not be happier for them.  We were also happy for a reason to get together and party.

We rented a beautiful house close to the temple.  We were missing Liz, who is a lot pregnant, and of course Dave and Reese (because that would have been weird).

On Saturday we spent some time with Uncle Jared and Aunt Jen at the "bean" museum on the BYU campus.

Overall it was a wonderful trip, and everyone was very tired...
