READY, SET, GO!!
Chandler's THIRD birthday party was on a Saturday, and I feel like it was a success.. I don't know how other people felt, but I thought it was F-U-N!

Unfortunately, we were too busy to take many pictures.. Someone took some with our camera. I don't know who it was, but thank you someone.
This is pretty much pictures of us on a boat

This is Natalie's tree.
Chandler and I went on the tube, and then it was all he talked about for like a day or so.. We didn't whipe out like this tho..

Do those make you smile?
This is Miranda and Mom.
This is my little brother Nathan, and Chandler Nathan.. get it? Nathan came home from his mission in February.
This is Jared's other face.. he's a goober.
Why do we play this game? Clearly, it's unenjoyable.*The majority of these pictures were stolen from Adam's facebook... thanks Adam*
Cabin Barnette
At some point during the trip I said, "I like fishing, not actually fishing, but going and sitting.." And I realized I'm turning into my mom.
"Chandler helping daddy"
The MEN built a new deck for the cabin. It was looking beautiful (although not quite finished) when we left.
Next time we go I'll be less pregnant, and maybe I'll last a little longer... maybe not. lol.

Confession of a Mickey Mouse kind
Usually Chandler gets up with Brandon in the mornings around 7. He comes into our room with a bright "Good morning daddy!" and then starts complaining about going down stairs and wanting cereal... marshmallow cereal. Brandon usually goes down poors him some cereal and then comes back upstairs and continues getting ready for school while Chandler eats marshmallows and watches what ever play house disney has lined up for him.
When Brandon returns down stairs for his own marshmallows there is usually a conversation that goes like this:
"NOOOO!! Mickey Mouse!"
"Chandler, I want to watch basketball." Brandon has obviously changed the channel to sports center.
"Mickey Mouse!"
"Basketball!"
"Mickey Mouse!"
"Basketball!"
My confession? This is one of my favorite parts of the day. Laying in bed listening to them argue over the TV. It feels so real, like a real family.
Brandon usually wins. Then he leaves and Mickey Mouse is returned.

Little Sisters
Most of my childhood they were babies. Eventually they started saying, "We're not babies anymore!" and their name changed from "the babies" to "the girls." At 15, they are still "the girls".. or at least in my mind.
They used to tell funny jokes. I remember one going like this, "Why did the chicken cross the road. To get eaten by a bear." I still think it's funny.
I always wanted a big sister (not that I would trade my big brother in for one). I'm afraid I'm not the big sister that I had imagined a big sister to be. We didn't share clothes, or make up, or... anything. They shared with each other and no one wanted my 8-year old hand me down stretchy pants. My sisters were a mere 9 years old when I left the house and the only thing I handed down was my bedroom. Which Natalie moved into before I was even gone.
Though, they are my little sisters, they far surpass me in so many ways. Their grades and school performances are remarkable, especially when compared to mine. They are currently haggling with my dad about a deal involving a car. A deal that my dad made to my older brother and I, knowing that we would not receive strait A's for 2 years. They are spiritual giants of the teenage variety and enjoy young womens activities like I never did. Their feet also out grew mine at.. I don't know.. age 8. They've even beat me at shoes size!
Natalie is intelligent and energetic. However hard we try, she resists our temptations to play games.
Miranda is bright and very thorough in everything she does.
Both ladies are beautiful, and life will be very exciting watching them through the upcoming years.
Happy birthday to my only little sisters...thank goodness you weren't boys. yuck.
